  11.    FullPalette is a patch that, together with a preferences editor, allows
  12. you to define and save ALL the 256 Workbench colors and not just eight of
  13. them as the standard Palette editor does.
  14.  
  15.    You can decide exactly which colors are to be "locked", and thus never
  16. modified by programs running on the Workbench screen, and which colors
  17. instead are to be left "free" for IPrefs and other applications.
  18.  
  19.    Among other advantages, this makes the managing of icons much easier;
  20. using FullPalette you can, for example, have icons with any number of
  21. colors without risking to see some of them change just because you view
  22. a picture with MultiView on the Workbench screen.
  23.    You could also set colors 4-7 to always be the same as colors 252-255.

  25.    FullPalette also has a button strip to easily perform editing actions
  26. such as "Copy", "Swap" and "Spread".

  28.    For the purpose of editing the Workbench palette, FullPalette can
  29. wholly replace the standard "Palette" preferences editor, whose settings
  30. file (palette.prefs) it continues to maintain for compatibility, although
  31. FullPalette also uses a custom file.

  33.    The patch runs alongside IPrefs with no conflicts.

  36.    Note: This patch is even more useful when used in conjunction
  37.          with the "VisualPrefs" patch for the Amiga GUI, which is
  38.          also available on Aminet as util/wb/VisualPrefs.lha.

  43.    · Added a workaround for a bug in the V39 gadtools.library
  44.      concerning the displaying of the contents of the color number
  45.      indicators. Hope it works!

  47.    · The "Options->WBPattern remapping" menu is now correctly
  48.      updated when you select "Last saved" from the "Edit" menu.
  49.  
  50.    · Added "Ignore" to the pattern remapping options.
  51.  
  52.    · A new environment variable now allows to have automatic
  53.      copying of the last four palette colors to colors 4-7.
